The California Endowment in collaboration with LaMont Digital commissioned me to do a piece about how integral immigration is to the AAPI community.
I knew from the beginning that I wanted to highlight the connectedness of the community by showcasing a range of people coming together (as per usual) over shared food. As far back as it may go, immigration is a part of a lot of AAPI stories in the US.
